I dunno, seemed like a weird way to respond to a simple question asking for what China gave up in this deal.

One of the many things thethe told us this was all about was decoupling the world from China and bringing them to their knees
He acknowledged yesterday trump could have easily done this with a few more weeks of pain but chose to let them off the hook in exchange for... still not clear

Seems to me the drama was a big announcement of random nonsensical tarrifs on every country in the world except Russia, including a country that exclusively had penguins as its.citizens
And then after weeks of threats saying nevemind, but maybe we will... but nevermind for now

The difference is the media 40 years ago no one would have known any of this went on to accomplish the end result.
In today’s info 24/7 of it bleeds it leads mindset the sensationalism has won. O’Leary is correct. The noise is too much . Trump creates a lot of noise himself, and acting surprised at that we knew 10 years ago is… impressive I guess?
Some of it’s a game of unknowns, some of its empty rhetoric, some of it has truth.
I guess having people not know until it’s done helps him negotiate he feels ?

The tarrifs weren't "noise"
They were a policy that went to affect that caused massive uncertainty in business and wiped out tons of small businesses along the way.
Now he's undoing the policy and the cult is claiming some weird victory about how it all worked but can't explain what the end result is

The median income in China is a big reason why this trade war is happening and someting that China will have to fix.
Wish we would be more hawkish but I'm not going to agree with everything Trump does.
