Well Matthews was likely to fall to 6 anyway. We just missed out on Mack. I would have given up our 3 next year to get Mack instead.

I don't disagree with using that pick to move up the. But supposed that someone else traded up and took Manziel, or a surprise team took him. They gambled that he would fall from 8 to the 20s.

That's true, but I think they made an educated gamble on that decision.

Great value pick for Green Bay. Very surprised he lasted that long. I think that's a good upgrade for the Packers defense.
