I really thought a few years ago that Ozzie and Altuve were battling for best second baseman in the league. Shows how dumb I am.

One thing we gotta remember is that broken wrists typically take a year to fully recover from. Albies broke his last August.

It happened to Freeman too. He wasn’t as bad as this, obviously, but he’s also just a much better hitter than Albies in the first place.

Ozzie was a legitimate 4 WAR player until 2023. Although admittedly I never understood how he did it.
