Man, I want Murphy gone tomorrow, so I agree. Murphy didn't sign that deal to be part time, so I'm sure he wants out too. Make it happen

His contract would be moved easily. I'd be on the phone with the Cardinals who need a C and they have quality SS to trade. I'd go hard after JJ Wetherholt. He's their top SS prospect and #18 on pipeline. He's 22 and will be ready to start next year. I'd even put Ritchie with Murphy to get him.

First loss is always tough. Didn’t get to watch this disaster. But I really don’t get AA declaring he won’t be seller and in the same breathe continue to run 4 of the worst hitters out there everyday. At this point either sell or make some changes

The problem AAA hitters are worse than the MLb hitters. So the coaching down there sucks and sending counterfeit Mike down won’t help him.

The whole org needs to be flushed and anyone who knew cox should be shown the door.

To be fair he said that before Sale got hurt. He could change his mind and be justified in it now.
 
There is no way this team is making the playoffs. There is nothing that they have shown that says a big run or even a .600 win percent.

Ozzie can hit a ball with an ev over 90mlh
Harris can’t hit a ball and only care about his bronco and his back pocket looking like a prison bitch
Allen is a great defensive sub but can’t hit a pitch over 92
Verneedstogo is awful yet plays most of the time

And the king of all kings twit is literally the dumbest person in all of sports.

Just to many holes this year. Allen has been amazing in the field and if he was the only offensive liability then that would be fine but Harris, Albies, and LF are just terrible. They aren't gonna be traded but something is gonna have to change with those 2 before next season or we are gonna have 2 liabilities right out of the gate next year. Letting Ozuna and Iglesias walk will help to save money to fix LF and or SS but team is gonna have to loosen the purse strings to add in a top SP like Cease and it'll be needed especially with it being Sales last year and if Striders velo doesn't come back.
 
There is zero reason to let ozempic and riggy walk. You have to trade them and get some gum. A bag of balls. A more current version of managing for super dummies.
 
I was feeling pretty good after 3 straight series wins and getting the marlins. Man, this series took it out of me. I'll be pretty surprised is this series didn't break the team too. I expect a thrashing this week - 2-5
 
Good thing is we will see what Fuentes can do over a pretty good sample size and they may push Richie now also. Our run of bad luck continues bc I believe Sale was gonna win the CY again.

Sale was doing great, but he wasn't winning the CY unless Skenes got injured or went into a bad slump.

I don't know the exact SS name to target, but this is a very reasonable plan that should probably happen at the deadline barring a massive turnaround.

Murphy, Ozuna and Iggy all should be cashed out. I know folks like to dump on Murphy, but that contract is actually fairly valuable and could possible fix SS or another position for 2026.

I hope AA isn't blind at this point. I know he doesn't wanna sell but he said that before the Sale injury so it would free him of going back on his word.
