I have to say, I’m silently rooting for Mandani despite my healthy skepticism in hard left economics. I’ve always thought cities are the best places to try bold new ideas because the state government is setting a lot of the overall policy for its citizens. Don’t get me wrong, Hegseth absolutely strikes me as a guy who will tell a woman she’d be pretty if she smiled more, but this is so dumb, man. Not every public statement needs to be scrutinized for gendered language and it’s one of the main things the left gets wrong.
