Tornes 2-6 last night with a double. He's hit in every game so far except for the first 2. And he's riding a 13 game hit streak. Doesn't even turn 17 for another week.

In a bit of an oddity, the DSL Braves beat the DSL Royals 16-0 without hitting even 1 homer.

He's my guy although I wish Perdomo hadn't all of a sudden forgot everything he was doing early. He's still so talented but Tornes has taken hitting to another level for a Brave position player. Patience...approach...barrel..EV....speed (15/15 SB)...He's legit..I just hope they don't tinker too much. His plane needs little adjustments. Not sure about hitting philosophy anymore.

103 avg? A few weeks ago it was 103-106. As a 16 y/o. That's eye and two reports. My thoughts easily over 100...

Also...I wouldn't worry about HR's right now. He's got 7-8 extra base hits including a few triples. He drives the ball plenty.

Yeah those are pretty good EV's especially for a 16 year old.
