Whoa, didn’t see this and immediately noticed the right-wing media is in a frenzy about this. Given that you’ve already posted this to the left has lost its mind thread despite no evidence of any of the motivations of the person involved, I think it’s reasonable to suggest the right’s media strategy is working as intended.
 
For the record, I’m not even disputing in any way that it *could* be a leftist. But I’ll freely admit when I hear about a dude in the Idaho wilderness with a rifle, my first thought is not immediately leftist politics.

It's a strong possibility given the rampant rates of mental illness among highly educated lefties. Those would be my priors. Probably a Muslim too.

The free thinkers have clearly cracked the code. Any wildfire or shooting is now assumed to reinforce their specific worldview and if evidence comes along suggesting they’re full of shit, they can just hit us with the “wow, how crazy is this story? It’s really making no sense at all” to still make their followers think they were right about it before moving on.

I dont see anything in that "fact check" that disputes the fact that he claimed Tim Walz hired him to murder her.

It is quite obvious he is insane and I think its well established where insane falls on the political spectrum these days. See thread title
