I'd say snit has cost the braves at least 4 wins this season (probably more). How different does it look at 4 games out of the WC vs 8 out? This is why it was dumb to let him continue. Now the braves are out of it, attendance will drop, and so will salary next season bc of it. All bc they don't wanna hurt his feelings
I said the same on twitter and the snit defenders said with instant replay now Bobby would have just not argued as much.

Yep - I think most of the time Bobby was doing it to get his team fired up and protect his pitcher and remind everyone in the dugout how important every pitch was.
And I also believe we got a whole lot of favorable pitch calls (especially with Glavine on the mound) because umps didn’t wanna deal with Bobby and being a sportscenter highlight getting called a cocksucker every single night).
God, I miss that man.
If that Philly slide in to home was on replay and everyone knew it was out and they still called it safe, Bobby would have cussed out every single umpire on the crew.
Bobby averaged 5.5 ejections per year over his 29 managing seasons. Maybe instant replay prevents 1 or 2 of those per season. He still would be top 3 in history in ejections.
I think they'd actually increase his ejections. Because he'd challenge, and then if it's too close to overturn they'd rule against and he'd still go out there saying he didn't need instant replay to know that was an out or safe call lol
