He, Ozzie, and Harris shouldn't be back. This deadline should have one goal - get rid of Harris. Do what it takes and don't bring Ozzie back.Tim Hyers has got to go

I get that you’re irritated, but realistically, what would the Braves get for Harris? You think a team is going to trade much of any value for him? A guy on a multi year deal struggling at the plate? Braves would have to fork over a good bit of cash and would be lucky to get a top ten prospect. He, Ozzie, and Harris shouldn't be back. This deadline should have one goal - get rid of Harris. I just want rid of Harris. Eat money, do whatever.... I don't ever wanna see him in a braves uniform again. Harris and at least a couple others need a voice they can listen to in improving their offense. I don’t know who that is, but it’s not Tim Hyers. I don’t know what he’s teaching, but it’s screwed up this offense. And I’m afraid it’s in some guys heads now. Should have never let go of Kevin Seitzer. I didn’t understand it then and I sure don’t now.
Well, you may want it, and I’m sure you are not alone, but not gonna happen. He more than anyone else needs another voice to work with him that’s not Tim HyersI just want rid of Harris. Also, if you’re making trading Harris the one goal at the deadline, then this trading period is an unmitigated failureHe, Ozzie, and Harris shouldn't be back. This deadline should have one goal - get rid of Harris. Do what it takes and don't bring Ozzie back.
Nothing will happen at the break anyway according to thisAlso, if you’re making trading Harris the one goal at the deadline, then this trading period is an unmitigated failure
We’re 20 days from the deadline. We often see these things change. There’s no reason to believe this team will turn it around. AA may have to come to the realization that it’s going to take more than deals involving Ozuna and Iglesias to get the pieces to help this team get back in 2026. By month’s end, he could very well listen to offers on Johnson, Bummer, and even Murphy. Is that a guarantee? No, it’s not. But considering where this team is at, it may very well come to that.Nothing will happen at the break anyway according to this

MLB insider reveals Braves trade deadline intentions
The Braves are closer to the bottom team in the National League than the Wild Card, and it's fair to wonder what they'll do at the trade deadline. Buyingwww.sportstalkatl.com
Shea Langeliers is pretty solid. Ritchie is probably our 3rd best prospect right now. Murphy was on his way to being our top prospect before the injury. As if AA could make a 1st round pick that pans out. Has he yet?
I think guys on expiring contracts will be the guys that other teams may want. As it relates to Ozuna, it's likely that only teams with a hole at DH will be interested unless they want to take the risk of sticking him in the OF. Iglesias has experience and although I haven't looked at his page at Baseball Savant, he probably still has value though not as a closer. We’re 20 days from the deadline. Strider isn't necessarily "back" per se, but he's given up 3 runs or less in every start since June 8. 7 starts and 42.2 innings. 11.6 K/9, 3.38 bb/9, .63 hr rate, 3.16 ERA, 2.55 FIP, and 2.92 xFIP.
He may not quite be back to the Strider we knew, but he's getting closer each start it seems like. And the results have been good, regardless.
The 10th wasn't the problem. It's the 11th with Acuna, Olson, and Riley up vs a guy that had given up 6er in last 6 IP entering the game. Acuna and Riley might as well be Harris and Allen in a high leverage spot. I'm wrong, Riley and Acuna are much worseWent to bed tied at 3 and knew what to expect when I got up today. I don’t even want to look why this team couldn’t get a run in the 10th or 11th. Most likely watched strike 1 and swung at everything else out of the zone.
Just in case people think this is hyperbole...The 10th wasn't the problem. It's the 11th with Acuna, Olson, and Riley up vs a guy that had given up 6er in last 6 IP entering the game. Acuna and Riley might as well be Harris and Allen in a high leverage spot.
Add letting Waldrep get a start every 5th day, and strider velocity getting back closer to 98.Ozzie's EV is climbing. Up to 90 average EV over his last 70 at bats. The focus for the rest of the season should be getting Ozzie and Harris back to something resembling what they were before this season.
