It's Adam Sandler and I've always had a soft spot for his sophomoric brand of humor. Its only awards nomination will probably be for the Razzies, but I took it for what it was. I thought the pro golfers did pretty well in their cameos. Scheffler was pretty funny and was a good sport for going along with a reprise of his real-life jailhouse episode.

This is completely accurate. I chuckled in a few spots when I just was half paying attention. And like 50 I probably enjoyed the golfers interaction in the movie the most. Scotty was hilarious.
 
This offense is healthy, and most of these guys will be out there opening day 2026. There's no excuse for this team to be so bad offensively

This team has given up. Not on the season, mind you-on themselves, as a group of players. They look tired. They look beat. They have zero fight or resilience left in them. 22 and 23 broke them, as they realized that postseason success just isn’t in the cards for them despite being one of the best regular season teams.

The window may not be closed completely, but it’s going to take a small miracle to light that fire again. This team is much more than a couple of avoided injuries away from contention (for a title, not a fringe playoff spot).
 
Braves are only 1.5 games from being better than just the Rockies and White Sox — Rockies are ineligible from being in the lottery next season.

We know the Braves will go on some BS 12-3 type run to end the year and end up outside of the top 5.
 
I strongly suspect AA is quietly bonusing them to tank……

Otherwise, we just suck at levels than I’ve not seen since the 1970s in my childhood…. And I can’t accept that…..

What other teams are ineligible? I know there are a few.
 
McGuirk needs to use his Augusta National connects to get Elder into the Masters and hopefully on the PGA Tour so we don’t have to watch him pitch again after this season.
