Good stuff buddy!

I was looking at our prospect lists and it looks to me like we will have pretty good depth in the high minors in terms of pitching. We got Ritchie, Fuentes Waldrep, and Burkhalter in AAA now with relievers prospects Lara and Hayden Harris. Hackenberg I wont really even consider until he shows some signs of life but I assume at some point he will atleast return to AAA before 2027. Braun is in AA now and probably starts in AAA next year if he doesnt get there this year. Mejia isnt much of a prospect imo but he is on prospect lists and he has already pitched at AAA so he could be in AAA. Baumann should start next year in AA assuming he stays in high A all year. Owen Murphy I assume gets some starts in High A this year and is in AA early next year. Caminiti might see High A this year. So lets assume he spends most of the year at High A and sees AA late in the year for a few starts. Now there wont be much of a roster crunch in 2026 because most of those pitching prospects still need lots of development time but the issue would come in 2027. AJSS should be back from TJ as well. A good problem to have.

There's a surplus there and you're right that it's a good thing. I halfway expect both Burkhalter and Harris to see some time with the big club this year. Both have to go on the 40-man roster this off-season to avoid being exposed in the Rule 5. Harris was a UDFA in 2022, but he's gotten guys out at every level.

It's a bit irrelevant, but I wonder how many top 100 prospects are we gonna end up with at the end up of the season? I'm thinking Fuentes and Caminiti are locks, both probably top 50. I feel like Ritchie falls in the 75-100 range. What are the odds Tornes cracks the list after a very solid season in the DSL, while playing half the season at just 16 years old?

We’re gonna have a top 10 farm system going into next season, and that’s before we even draft number 1 overall.

Took Fuentes a few starts to shake off any bad habits he picked up in the bigs. Murphy is looking bad ass since coming back. We have a lot of talent coming and if we add in a top 5 pick and a pick from Baldwin then we could have a top 5 farm next year

I may be way off but I think Lodise will move fast.
