Kash Patel, one of the leading RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES guys, now testifies if he were in charge of the FBI in 2006, he would have never even brought this case up.

Kash and Bondi have neutered themselves to not embarrass Trump being linked to the Epstein files.
 
This has been disappointing. I think it’s still obvious that the files aren’t a direct threat to Trump. He wouldn’t have been pushing for their release for so long if that were true. It seems more likely that they’re a threat to someone else who is a threat to Trump.

My assumption at this point is that he stands to be at least trivially embarrassed by something within the full files, but not implicated criminally. The dude was pretty clearly friends with the guy for a substantial amount of the time he was doing human trafficking, and it sure seems pretty obvious that attractive young women factored into that friendship. I don’t have any suspicions that he’ll be shown to be any sort of accomplice or person of interest in the investigation, but I’m guessing some unsavory shit is there in the background that just paints Trump as a gross old man. But like, it’s Donald Fucking Trump, of course he was doing and saying gross shit at all those parties.

And I think he and his team recognized the political utility of beating the Epstein drum and these dumb motherfuckers just miscalculated hard and didn’t realize how many people would come out of the woodwork to hold them accountable for releasing everything rather than just a curated release of empty binders. Lest we forget, they must have genuinely thought they could get away with it with their base at least. They mistake people like Libs of TikTok’s popularity as genuine influence. They’re basically just souped up meme accounts. Yes, they’ll influence you into focusing more attention on things that outrage you, but nobody *actually* gives a damn what they have to say. They’re just a big old serving of rage bait and the dumbest fucking commentary and cult worship you’ll ever see written out. Even those within the cult only read/watch their content to dunk on people.
