Hessmania Forever
Who ya got?

I was looking at the Guardian's roster and low-and-behold, there was Kolby Allard. He actually posted a 1.3 bWAR this year in 65 IP (33 G). Only 27. Seems like he should be closer to 40.

I probably won't watch a single inning of a single game.. I might stop for a pitch or two if I pass by a game on TV.. but I don't really care who wins or loses. Congrats to the one team that finishes on top.. welcome to the loser club to everyone else.

Not that it matters who the best team is heading into the playoffs but this is the most mid playoffs that I can remember. No truly great team this year.

The bottom tier of the qualifiers is pretty bad. I didn't realize that the Guardians' offense was so miserable.

It's been a few years now and I wish MLB would try to avoid divisional opponents the first round or two in the bracket.

Just seems like the Tigers and Indians have played a hundred times the last two weeks.

Only team I'm interested in is the Mariners since Seattle has been a second home to me.

The Reds aren't that much better. And they are worse in overall fWAR among position players. Guardians and Reds rank 24th and 25th in that regard. Truly pathetic.

Guardians won their division with a -6 run differntial. Braves were at -10 for whatever it's worth.

It sucks to see Fried have such a good outing in his first postseason game for the Yankees, especially after how many disastrous outings he had for the Braves in the playoffs. At least we'll always have world series game 6.
