Actively preventing action that will greatly improve the lives of Chicago's citizens.

It makes no sense until you recognize they want the US to fall to its knees and crumble.

Oh, stop. He’s not going to go sacrifice a few cops until the abusive policing stops. Between this and the other set of texts, it definitely paints a picture of him as one of those guys who sees politics and government as an us vs. them proposition and he doesn’t have the caliber of character that would make him an effective public servant, and I hope he loses in his election. But this is just immature nonsense, not some preview of his policies if elected.

It’s a picture into his worldview which is gross.

Seems very aligned with many on this forum though.

Im sorry dude. Youre the man of ultimate empathy for criminals but can't seem to put yourself in the shoes of someone like me who its been made very clear to in the last month that the mainstream position of the democratic party is my death would be a good thing.

He's running to be the top prosecuter of the state. We see how he will treat his political enemies (Rittenhouse) and what he thinks of us.

That every democrat has demanded he stepped down is a black mark on the party

"Hoping he loses" is a fun hedge sentiment... but the call should be he should never be heard from in politics again
 
Im down in cancun for a wedding. There was, and I am not exaggerating, zero people at immigration beside my plane.

Ive been down here several times, and its always a packed house post landing. Hour long wait at least

Now, this is the first time im coming during raining season.

And its monday.

But this resort is half empty.

I recently went to vegas and was a similar story.

My read is it is a look at the American economy. But I could be wrong

We live in a widely bifurcated economy. If you make min 400k per year with a family you can enjoy life and all it has. Otherwise, it’s pretty bleak out there in terms of discretionary spend for vacations.
