I know plenty of women (my wife included) who would take great offense at being told to get real job after they just gave birth.

It’s retarded thing to say as a politician no less
Again, you're keep going for this only myopic way of reading it. I expect this from sturg, not from you.

Men without children can’t possibly understand how hard of a job being a stay at home mother can be.

Also think AOC getting nervous she isn’t the crown jewel of the communists anymore.

This comparison from a Democrat consulting group is setting a lot of redditors off. I don’t think it surprises anyone, but some don’t like it being called out.
Dems need to learn the subtle art of shutting the fuck up about different identities unless they’re actively responding to something that specifically is about those identities. I still contend the Democrats don’t need to abandon many of their principles on diversity, but simply to allow it to not be the discourse. Not focusing on economics/jobs in your messaging is political malpractice.

Instead of being upfront about their racial/gender insanity they should hide it and then unleash their wrath if they get elected!

But that is politics - Just be honest about it when your party lies just like I said Project 2025 was absolutely the policy.

Key point, and one they miss over and over again

Actually, talking about diversity is generally all they actually accomplish so it’s not really hiding anything. My point is that they don’t need to mention every race/gender/sexuality during every speech or meeting like they’re playing a game of mad libs. Run on issues and trust voters to vote for you based on those, not how much more sorry you are than Republicans about the trail of tears or Jim Crow.

The incompetence on display here is almost enough to give me an aneurism.

I think in large part the Dems have had a post-Obama problem of conflating his success with his identity. They saw the first black president be the last popular figure in the party (besides Bernie) and took that to mean they need to go all-in on it. Fortunately for them the Republicans likewise seem to think they all need to be Trump now which should also fail.

I'm aware of what you said - What you said is what I described. The Communists can't help but spew their dogma from their frothing mouths.

If you think all the political strategists and wealthy politicians in the Democratic Party are pushing these talking points so hard because of their genuine beliefs and not because they’ve failed to understand the cultural climate, you sure have more faith in their principles than I do.

The thing I find interesting about the chart is that I believe anyone here could have pointed out the changes in focus without needing to do the research. I’m not sure how it surprises anyone, but now that the data is out from a Democratic aligned source there is an uproar. It’s starting a fight between the true believers who are only interested in identity politics and the rest of the party who rolled their eyes while going along with the identity stuff and are only interested in power. Not an easy rope to walk.

And crucially, they don’t have any actual electoral reason to walk it. For basically any issue outside of outright discrimination, just substitute your minority of choice for poor people generally and you probably won’t even lose any votes from those groups. Do we think there’s a single voter out there who was going to change their vote to Trump unless the Dems explicitly used their platform to call out the effects of imperialism on Native Americans?
