We actually don’t have any boats that are fast enough to catch them. Any US boats that were fast enough would still have the problem of forcing them to stop. And if they did decide to stop, the cocaine would have been in the ocean long before the boat caught them. This is why the problem is so difficult to address in typical law enforcement ways.
