No i didn't. I said RDS has laid out what strategy MAGA Mike Johnson should execute but MAGA Mike Johnson doesnt seem interested.

RDS isn't suggesting Trump us a line item veto bc those aren't allowed.

Rds is suggesting MAGA MIKE JOHNSON to do his job and force congress to vote on dozens of several spending bills. The insane stuff wont pass and the dems would have to vote against the normal stuff (military, children, etc) as their leverage to get the insane stuff (tranny surgeries for prisoners)

The primary benefit is spending gets cut. The secondary benefit is the dems have to choose funding children programs cleanly, or saying no bc they want their fraud included

But MAGA Mike Johnson is swampy so it ain't gonna happen but our president could use his leverage to make it happen if he wanted

The Republicans have the majority. Any bill the speaker wants to have a vote on will happen.

On the flip side, the speaker can squash a vote from happening. So he could say we're not voting on the next omnibus

Correct - He controls the agenda. What happens when he can't convince the Republicans to move off their desire to have a comprehensive bill? Just not have any spending bills at all? I'm sure the Democrats would LOVE that.

Problem is you've had many examples of congressmen offering clean spending bills that the speaker has instead shut down.
