Do you actually, truly believe my objections to us conducting a regime change in a foreign country while actively claiming their natural resources in the process is just because Trump did it and I’m annoyed it was the other team?

Why should we be upset a dictator was removed and its people will now be much better off?

This isn’t a Muslim country. The Venezuelan people have a long proud history of being a successful well functioning country. This removal will go very well after a few months of instability.

I support an “occupation” for as long as it takes.

We are warped from the concept of Muslim occupations. This is a totally different world.

We can’t sustain that - it’s a completely siffeeent argument all together.

Venezuela will return to its former glory and will become a MAGNET for migration back.

Didn't realize the military was doing this pro-bono. You think Northrop Grumman is doing this for charity? They're paying our troops to go there and kidnap their president then occupy the country?

I think its more they are trying to isolate hte impact of just what tariffs are doing.

Despite that - if that is the contention then they should come out and say that without tariffs we would have deflation.

They won't say that though....

What are you talking about. The analysis has been that tariffs added a point to inflation, which has been running near 3% most of the year (per the government CPI which always understates)

Let’s ignore real prices again.

The 1% and 1k figures make no sense to me. Is it stating that most families spend 100k a year prior to this year?

Who is doing that outside of people with money?
