GDT #42: 5/18/14: Braves (Floyd) vs Cardinals (Garcia '14 debut)

Nothing to bring a smile to your face like a Braves reliever walking the first batter on four pitches [sigh].

Juan Francisco: 8 Homers, 19 RBI's, .287 AVG, .370 OBP. Pretty impressive for Juan. Never disliked the guy. Not sure it'll last long, but good for him!

Its the 6th inning, you all know what that means.

We were 12-0 on games we scored first going into this road trip. Heading toward 12-4.

Are you kidding me Schafer? There's no way that just happened. If we lose this game because of this crap. Then Dan Uggla double clutches. Freaking idiots.

This team is finding new ways to lose games. They have given the Cards all 5 of their runs today. Unbelievable and now this game is over.

Schafer's error happens and is excusable.

Uggla's is the result of not having your head in the game.

I'm reminded of a quote by Casey Stengel about the early Mets in which he said something to the effect of, "this team finds ways to lose games that I didn't even know existed."

Welcome to the 2014 Atlanta Braves.

The Cardinals haven't had to do much of anything. This is insane. I don't know if I've ever seen a Braves team go on this bad of a slump (if that's what it is now). I mean, this is embarrassing. Dan needs to be released, done.
