Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

“All New Yorkers”

(Except the ones who make a combined $114k a year who pay for the program through higher taxes and will likely pay higher childcare costs as the state subsidizes daycare demand )
man being in the ~$100K income bracket is the worst place to be it seems. Too rich to get any of the freebies and handouts they're always giving out... too poor to afford the insane cost of services required for an upper middle class lifestyle.

It’s under 250k for a family over here. Brutal for the next generation.

My buddy lives in NOVA making $160K per year. wife stays home to watch the kids because she makes less than the cost of day care. They got a $500K house on a 2.7 interest rate. He says his paycheck no longer covers their expenses so he has to stop saving for retirement

Growing up $160K was rich

Rich rich

I’m fucking lucky I bought my house in 2010. Dad slammed me for paying too much and I’m up 150% since that time. Subsequently put a crapload of work in it but only possible because of that entry price.

This generation has no shot to have a family in a major metro area unless they make over 250k.
