GDT #44: 5/20/14 Brewers (Gallardo 2-2) @ Braves (Teheran 2-3), 7:10

Dang it Laird, just sit there and take strike three. A little contact gets us a run. Now Teheran is up.

Well, way to go Teheran! That will work!

I hope he's okay as he's a very good pitcher and I like him. Smart to remove him rather than push it given the score here. I'd removed him to be safe either way though.

Other than Braun, I have no problem with the Brewers and hope Gallardo's ankle injury is nothing serious.

After beating up their bullpen last night, the last thing Milwaukee needed was for their starter to have a short outing tonight.

Gomez?

Man, Freeman smoked that ball. We should've scored two more there but thanks to another bullet hitting someone we didn't. Hopefully we have enough though.

Nats up 3-1 facing Cueto thanks to the Reds making some bad errors that have led to all three runs. Well, make that 4-1 now and still batting. Given the Reds line-up without Votto they should win tonight.

Did they win last night?

Did they win last night?

Yep, Reds won it 4-3 in 15 innings, it was 2-2 through 14 innings. Frazier did it all basically, including a two run homer in the 15th proving the difference. But I don't see them coming back tonight with their line-up. It's 6-1 Nats now btw.

They also were great defensively last night while tonight they're making errors that lead to multiple extra bases. For example, bunt and their third baseman throws it away leading to two runs.
