Maybe next we can actually focus on wasteful spending within the government. Nothing this Administration is doing is fiscally responsible. Cabinet members like Noem and Patel are walking expense machines, we’ve wasted piles of money on Department of War nonsense, they’re actively calling for insanely high budgets for Defense and DHS, etc.
'Department of War nonsese'

ok

We are seeing reduction in budget deficits while also having a high growth economy coupled with controlled inflation and very high real wage growth.

I think these guys know what they are doing.

EH.

When we went after fraudsters yall put on a month long riot that’s likely costing citizens and government plenty

Literally useless liberals

Thank you Mr. President for putting Americans first
Unemployment rate for native-born Americans:

January 2025 4.3%

January 2026 4.7%

This is surprising if you think immigrant workers, in particular low-skilled immigrant workers, are competitors with American workers.

It is about what you would expect if immigrant workers are complements to American workers.

There is a body of research on this. Immigrant workers are mostly complements to American workers. Obviously it is a mix. This is why the word mostly or predominantly is important. Reducing immigration, including low-skilled immigration, is a spectacular own goal. Both when considered narrowly in terms of the effect on employment of American workers. And more broadly when you consider all the entrepreneurship and job-creation foregone and the robust positive impact of immigrants (to say nothing of their children) on federal finances.
