Bout time they produce a quality rookieJohn Gill is coming boys. Him being a difference maker sometime later this year or probably next would be huge for the franchise.
Yeah we've been slacking on the offensive side at producing guysgo

I think you missed the joke.Yeah we've been slacking on the offensive side at producing guys
I'll just say..this kid(Tornes)is something else. His exit velos and maturity are a welcome addition to the farm. Gil showing power elevates him significantly from a prospect perspective. He holds that this year, sky is the limit.
They’ve been saying he’s a Furcal/Betemit hybrid from a prospect standpointSo that homer is the first time I've actually seen Gil. I've heard the comparisons to Furcal but I'm guessing that's just because of his speed? Gil looks like he's pretty jacked and nothing like Furcal. 109 EV...
I got it I was just going along with it lolI think you missed the joke.
Dodd is a RP not a SP but he likely won’t break with the team because we already have 3 lefties and he has an option. If something happens to Lee or Bummer he should be getting the call thoughI'll be surprised if he does. Perez is a much better option, and Richie and baumann will be knocking hard this season
Yesterday or the day before. He looked good, but his fastball velocity was down. I worry about him because his velocity has dipped every year for three years. But as an isolated appearance, he was very good.Has Bummer pitched yet? How has he looked?
He was horrible last year. Metrics were very bad. He might be done.Yesterday or the day before. He looked good, but his fastball velocity was down. I worry about him because his velocity has dipped every year for three years. But as an isolated appearance, he was very good.
I'll let you think about it awhile to maybe see the difference in those situations. The whole rationale was we didn’t need to pay someone 10-15 million plus just to be another Elder. But in Lopez, looks like we’re going to be paying him 10-15 million plus just to be another Elder.
Like Elder, Lopez will have to hope for amazing command on a consistently 91-93 fastball to have success. A starting pitcher can’t rely on offspeed forever.I'll let you think about it awhile to maybe see the difference in those situations.
