There was an article I saw someplace showing that the Braves have a larger pct go against them any other team. How often is crazy and it's nothing new IMO. Thank God for replay this year or we might not be where we are.
 
I know he has always like alot of pitchers have that spot but it is more noticeable than in the past. I was just curious if it made anyone else worry it might get questioned after what has already happened with the yanks.

I know kimbrels spot looks like nothing compared to what happened in New York.
 
They made a good point about how big that Thomas pick-off ended up being during the post-game. Also, good to see Wood pick up the win in relief as he deserves a much better record than he has going back to his starts he got no support. Plus his ERA is skewed a bit by some bad defense (including the gift RBI double in St. Louis where Schafer lost the fly ball).
 


Series win baby! Didn't see this game, but the highlights of the challenges are amusing. The neighborhood call is confusing, and since it was such a fine play, I wish they'd have left it alone.

Keep in mind who was playing third, Reynolds is a terrible third baseman. Actually he's a DH/1B that is sometimes used at third. It reminded me of Laird's double off the glove of Michael Young early last season, though that one was originally rule an error and later changed to a double. Young was a no glove third baseman too, at least the latter stage of his career.

That said, I'll take a fluky hit or whatever else works. Good hustle by Laird to make second on the play too. He runs okay for a fat man, lol.
 
Fredi bashers take note: according to DOB, umpires wanted to allow Smith more than eight warmups since he was called on without proper pen warmup. Fredi flatly refused, citing rule, and they called New York to confirm that it was a steadfast rule. Needless to say, Smith grooved one to Doumit.

Also, four calls over turned, highest percentage in majors this season. This is Fredi and his staff being on the ball.

I'm pretty sure having someone tell him when to challenge helps on those percentages. Your average Laird could do that.
