Why would someone pick a state based on the niceness level of the governor? Is that serious?

I'm personally fine with restricting CEO pay. I just wonder why this should be different for sturg, isn't the value added by a CEO commensurate with their salary? I'm not saying it's right, just pointing out the peculiarity.

NGOs are not at all like this. There are no financial disclosures, or success metrics. Who is firing them? Certainly no shareholders. What is their success? Is homelessness being reduced?

Point me to the success of the homeless situation in NYC? If someone solves, id be glad to pay them millions!

How much should a CEO of a company with 2700 employees be paid?

I can see all the financials for those NGOs.

I get your point, I don't think you're wrong. I think government programs should be assessed for efficacy and if they aren't effective they should lose their funding and someone should replace them.

I know nothing about what value these organizations provide, nor do you. Even if they were perfect in every other fashion, you would object to it becuase it's government spending.

Are the previous homeless now living productive lives? No

Should the average spend for a homeless person be higher than the median income of a citizen who is funding it? You tell me

Again, without knowing the budgets, I don't know.I'm not going to spend a significant portion of my time worrying about how another state uses their taxes.

If they're being successful, then great, if not then get rid of them. It's up to the voters of said state to handle that shit.

I don't have the data on if this organizaiton is effective or not. I don't care to research it fully. Because again, I have shit I'd rather do than waste time researching something that doesn't matter to either of us and if you're wrong, it won't matter.

Ok youre basically saying the obvious but you have the answers.

Is it working? No

Are the politicians investigating why? No, they are increasing the funding

Are the voters doing anything about it? No. The people fed up leave. The rest remain status quo

Im not asking you to do research. They are spending $82k per homeless person. That is more than the median income of the state. Is homeless reduced? No, it is increasing.

If not fraud, its failure. Why should we continue it?
