Uhh... for profit company and charities are two wildly different things
Surely you understand that corporate CEOs are compensated by the value they are (believed) to be generating for shareholders?
NGOs are not at all like this. There are no financial disclosures, or success metrics. Who is firing them? Certainly no shareholders. What is their success? Is homelessness being reduced?
Point me to the success of the homeless situation in NYC? If someone solves, id be glad to pay them millions!
