Looks like Bello is owed about $50 million over four years with it getting up close to 20 per year in the final year. Not sure I’d want that anyway.

I think another Boston pitcher is actually the way to go. Patrick Sandoval is back from TJ and owed about $13m this season and a free agent after the year. They really do not need him - and I’d guess he’s behind Tolle and Bello on their depth chart, and both of them will start in Triple A.

Shouldn’t take much either - it frees up $12m for them and we have plenty of money from the Profar nonsense.

He’s starting on the Boston IL but I think they’re just bringing him along slow.
