By god MAGA is so desperate to scrape up support for their potato for brains candidate they're digging up shit from 2024 electoin.

The choice was voting for giant douche or turd sandwich. I would much rather have Kamala in office being embarrassing while a republican congress combats her executive order than Trump in office being embarrassing and speed running a recession because MAGA Mike Johnson won't actually do his job.

The mandate was pretty clear - bring down prices, secure the border, don’t start new wars. Somehow Trump finds himself upside-down on all key issues, and self-inflicted wounds are to blame in every instance. Just an incredibly incompetent job.

And somehow the Democrats are so pathetic that they’re still more unpopular than Trump, which may save him in the end.

How you people continue to support these two parties is beyond me!

DNC are colossal failures. 2020 they forced Biden down our throats as the never Trumps. DNC should have when trotting Biden out there had him declare he was a one term president because being President is a young person game. Instead they didn't force him out until it was way too late and threw a candidate no one wanted and forced people to vote. And no one wanted Kamala. But you're forcing people to vote between Trump and not trump again, which was stupid. They could have had a primary and had someone win the nomination that gets people excited.

We paid the price for it. Trump part 2 has been a disaster and the only defense is still might be better than the other type of disaster Kamala or Mr Magoo would have been.

The worst part of all of this is the country is shifting to the far left and we elect a communist. The odds of which increase every day Iran drags on.

All Americans continue to lose but the people who refuse to vote these clown candidates get blamed for it

Yeah, I'll pretty much go on record here and say if this Iran deal doesn't go as I suspect (I do think it won't be a thing past May, but if it is going into fall...), that it'll jack up the odds to being "quite high" you see us go from a righty populist to a lefty populist president in 2029.

The likelihood of the lefty populist seeing any kind of success is not high imo because of the fact that even in a disaster scenario, the US left won't get supermajorities.

Myself personally, I'm over it all and would like to get back to something that is much more on the line of "normal" politically.
