Honestly, while I know *why* conservatives are so particularly gung-ho about her death, I too find this response from the Dems generally and this local politician specifically about those wishing to honor or memorialize her to be pretty tone-deaf and pathetic. As long as they’re not putting up a mural of her that reads “deport all the brown people” or some shit then just let the people have the mural memorializing a person whose life was tragically cut short by a deranged murderer. Empathy should not be reserved for those you align with politically.
