No.So riddle me this. If you are going to burn your 3 highest leverage reliever in a 4 run game. Then why are you not also putting your best defenders in the field?’ Isn’t white much better than Yaz?

Shouldn’t he have his masters degree in sucking by now?
Pretty solid all the way around! We are winning despite some folks not exactly hitting as they surely will in the weeks ahead…
Luckily we have Drake Baldwin.
And - we are sitting at a half game off of the best record in baseball…. (Compared to being 0-6 at this point last year).
Love the Drake!
While I do appreciate that twit jr. used R. Saurez for the heart of the A's order in the 7th inning, I am still trying to understand why you warm him up and use him with a 4 run lead and a tough 4 game series coming up.. 2-1 game, then I get it.
Except that he’s had more time with Baldwin than annyone else in the roster. Besides Olson.Hyers hasn’t had time to mess up Baldwin and the new guys get, which is why they are the only ones hitting.
While that might be true. He is less of one on the simple fact he used his best reliever for the best part of the lineup. Was that intentional. Who knows. The Braves beat guys are too dumb to ask questions like that. The answer is that snit jr is an idiot.

Still hated him using the 3 top relievers up 4 runs though.
The problem is, most games will be decided by less than 4 runs. And Suarez is probably only going to make 60-70 appearances this year. We can't burn him out in April games where we have a comfortable lead. Especially in a stretch of 13 straight games. Luckily, the schedule is mostly favorable until early May. So hopefully we only have to count on Suarez a couple times a week for the rest of April.I’d rather use him in that situation then be forced to use him in a high pressure 5-3 situation with men on base because the other guys couldn’t close the game out.
I am confident, no matter the point of the season, if I were a retiree and had the time and energy, I could easily search old game threads and find a time where Snit used the back end of the pen against the heart of the opposing order and got lambasted by the same crew. I’m not concerned about this. It was the correct move to lock down the win with a west coast trip coming up. We hardly ever play well out west. The problem is, most games will be decided by less than 4 runs. And Suarez is probably only going to make 60-70 appearances this year. If this happens a handful of times a year, it isn't a big deal. But so far, it has happened twice in the first week of the season. Weiss needs to do a better of job going forward unless he wants to send Suarez's arm to an early grave.
Again, by itself it's completely defendable. Even a handful of times throughout the year. But it's the first week of the season and he's done it twice. You can't bring Suarez into the game every time we have a 4 run lead late in the game, or we're gonna overuse him. Work load management is one of the the primary issues we saw with Snit. I'd like to see Weiss use better judgement going forward.I am confident, no matter the point of the season, if I were a retiree and had the time and energy, I could easily search old game threads and find a time where Snit used the back end of the pen against the heart of the opposing order and got lambasted by the same crew. This. I am all for winning games that are winnable. But you have 8-9 pen guys for a reason. Kinley and Bummer are not complete bums and should be able to hold a lead. And using 1 of the top relievers in a 4 run lead is fine. But burning through all three. That is crazy in my book. If you only have 3 guys you trust to hold a 4 run lead for an inning then your pen is a problem.Again, by itself it's completely defendable. Even a handful of times throughout the year.
