Minor League Thread Part Deux

Yep. That was my take last year. I'm hoping for high end talent high and at the end of the draft. I think the farm is getting back on solid footing and is just that. Solid.
We have really solid pitching in the minors and the bats are starting to show a lot of promise so I'd be fine with a bat or SP at 9. We should take BPA but i know how we are too lol.

The farm looks completely different so far this year and that's huge. Adding a lot of high draft picks this summer should make it one of the best.
The lack of depth and quality upper-level position players will hold it back from being a top-10 farm. But, the quality pitching depth, upcoming crop of position players and chance at two high-end draft picks should get them around No. 15 within a few months.

I would rather see players contributing to the MLB team as the measure of success than prospect rankings.

It’s pretty obvious that the team sees it the same way.

Maybe the team will be so deep in the future that they will be able to let players marinate in the minors longer, and we can have both.🤷‍♂️

Pretty encouraged by the early returns on Southisene, as well, given he was a high-variance selection. Three walks tonight, and a good bb% overall, plus hitting the ball quite hard by all accounts. Fast (12 sb), and may stick at SS. Good stuff.

Almost like the Braves development staff is good at their jobs !

It would be great to get pre TJS Strider back. But at this point, we really just need him to stay healthy and provide quality innings.
