The receivers in this draft are nothing special. This draft is fairly weak on upper tier first round talent, but the value in this draft is the first 3 rounds and WR is actually one of the deeper positions.
There are still 3 guys available right now who have WR1 upside still. Boston and Branch both had first round grades by many analysts. Brazzell may have the highest upside in the draft with his length and speed.
So no, I don't think a 27 year old number 2 WR was worth the cost given up, even in a fairly weak draft class.,
Mostly number 2 guys. Plus we don’t know how these guys will turn out. 27 isn’t old, btw. Courtland Sutton will be 31 this year and he’s still solid. He can still be good when he’s 31 or 32. Broncos are a win now team. Late first round picks are often ass. The Broncos have a terrible track record drafting Wide Receivers so no thanks to them drafting a Wide Reciever at 30, lol
