I'm confused—somehow Ozzie pulled that pitch 350' down the line to the grass in centerfield?
 
In all seriousness, hopefully a few games in Coors gives Riley a chance to gain some confidence. If not, they need to give him a couple days off next week to reset his head.
 
Radio talking about late movement on pitches, and that got me wondering if statcast accounts for that. Seems to me that less movement but later would be better than more movement sooner

Hitters will let you know whether "late movement" matters or not.

Fact is this year Elder has an xwOBA of 271 right now which is damn good. Only thing on his Savant page that reflects this is his barrell ranking. He's in the 89th percentile. For whatever reason hitters can't square him up right now.
 
Just assumed Mateo was the #9 hitter. Forget we get treated to a showing of White Power this morning.
