GDT: Tigers @ Braves 4/29 : Ritchie Rich Time

Freddie scapegoats his agent, but if he really wanted to stay, he would have stayed.

Chipper told him.
Andruw told him.

Those guys bypassed their agents to get deals done to stay.

The team gave him a big 100 million deal previous his 3rd or 4th year in the league.

And yes, when you factor cost of living, taxes, deferred money, the LA deal is less than what ATL offered.
AND we actually got the one player who shows up to work more than Freeman and "somehow" manages not to bully other players into playing hurt or not taking needed days off.

Still sounds like AA’s fault to me. He runs the team, not Snitker.

Neither will admit it publicly, but I do have a feeling that AA influenced Snit to step down. Wish he would have done it sooner.

But he probably gave him an honest heart to heart on the state of the team under Snit and the future. Hence why the org already had everything prepped for his retirement.
