This is a mistake. You have enough outfielders to where Azocar doesn't need to be on the roster. Live with Yaz hitting against lefties for the time-being. Mix in Farmer more.
 
I think if Harris could be trusted to return to play CF every day we could have kept Heim, but we essentially have two DH’s rostered at the moment. So unless you can make the case to DFA Dom Smith then this is really the only option.

Understand not carrying 3 catchers, but we're going to miss Heim when Murphy gets injured again. With the bad catchers out there, there's no way Heim goes unclaimed. And if he's claimed. we're a Murphy oblique injury from Chadwick Tromp getting ABs for the club again.

Heim was not good. If I'm not mistaken, his OPS was in the .500's before yesterday. Teams could have had him for a song a couple months ago and I don't think he's done anything to improve upon his value in the time. And while 1.25 million for a catcher isn't a ton, teams tend to operate on tight budgets during the season. So unless a contender views him as better than what's currently on their roster (both 26 and 40 man) I would imagine he'll go unclaimed.
