GDT #62, 6/9/14: BRAVES (Winless Floyd) vs. ROCKIES (debut of BERGMAN); 8:40 EDT

Just realized when Andrelton hits his signature popup and Chip says "mile high fly ball" it is legit this time.

FLoyds past projected him to do this in Atlanta. I'm not the least bit surprised. I hope we find a way to keep him here. The only bad thing about his acquisition is that hte Braves were not given an option for a year. They took all the risk with him coming back from injury without hte option of bringing him back the following year.

Not at over 5 million or whatever he will command. He's an average pitcher and is not worth that much money to be 4/5 starter.

If you're looking for a hitter who'll work the count and see some pitches, Simmons ain't your guy.

Nope. Even worse this series bc of the reputation of this park. He's going to be trying to hit it to the "Big place!? Alpine drive!? " on every AB.

He's pitched really well for us. Like the way he mixes his pitches.

Yeah, I'm conflicted. I know he or Harang will PROBABLY be gone within the next few months... Weeks actually. I'd say he'd be the one to go, but I do like him.

CJ has been the only one to actually do any damage when Bergman leaves the ball up in the zone.
