What's frustrating is its easy to be negative. This organization proves over and over again that we are elite and will make the playoffs. We grow tired of the randoms that have no clue. Save the hate for when it matters.

I am not a random!!! I saw Dale Murphy in his prime. Although my favorite player was Bob Horner at the time because he was a 3B at the time before he was moved to first when the Braves acquired Ken Oberkfell from the Cards. How many of you can remember a night in San Diego during the final days of '82 when Knucksie hit a homer and won the game in that crucial battle with LA. How many of you remember Mr "The Yankees Win" John Sterling as a Braves broadcaster? I am not just some post 1991 fan that has never seen bad Braves baseball. What crime have I committed? All I have said is that this is a baseball team that imo has gotten it done with smoke and mirrors and I have absolutely no faith in them. I have hung out with a few of you going back to the BravesBeat days. Hell, I wrote columns for the original BravesBeat and Falcons Insider for a season. I have never made any of my posts personal but there are a couple of you here though that I have really gotten under your skin. Some of the replies read as if your feelings were hurt. All I can say is you need to put your big boy britches on if that's the case. Now back to baseball...
 
Well, to be relentlessly negative about the Braves on a Braves message board, you expect a parade? It's all in the presentation. For instance:

I remember those 80s clubs, too. And I can tell you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, they were among the ugliest clubs in sports history. Oberkfell and Horner: couple of chubby white guys with blond Afros. Zane Smith, in dire need of a chin implant. Rick Mahler and Glenn Hubbard, future Duck Dynasty extras. Even Dale Murphy, giant pre-cancerous mole on his cheek. All wearing those light blue doubleknits.

See? That was negative but funny.

Don't expect a parade, but I don't think I am being negative either when the record since May 1st has been less than stellar.
