GDT: 07/22/2014 Marlins (Turner) @ Braves (Minor)

I guarantee Gattis gets a hit in his next AB with nobody on and 2 out. We just can't buy a hit with runners on and I still don't understand why Fredi messed with the lineup. I like La Stella lower in the lineup with a chance to drive in runs.

He needs to grow up. This is not show fun, it's show business.

I'd hate to see how he'd react if something happened to his butt buddy Chris Johnson.

Small sample size and such, but La Stella is 0-16 with one walk (counting tonight) when batting 2nd and 2-20 and two walks when batting 1st. I like him lower in the order as well and it looks like he performs better there as well.

Remember when Mike Minor was good?

Seriously, I just don't get my hopes up with this team. From an 8-2 10 game stretch to a 3-7 and back again. Just hope they hang around and get hot at the right time this year.
 
if you can't get Jeff Baker out you got problems.

We can comee back, Turner sucks and so does their bullpen. But we have to lay off the balls out of the strike zone, something we just can't seem to do.
 
Any idea why a pitcher like Minor has just lost it. Minor has been garbage this year an ERA of 5+ is ridiculous and with him and Santana in this rotation we are really bad right now. Is there any chance Floyd comes back this year.
 
Mike Minor just absolutely sucks right now. Whenever he's on the mound, he's guaranteed to give up four runs. They can't keep running him out there at this rate. And yes, I agree with those that say the Braves need another starter, maybe they can sucker someone into taking Minor's sorry ass.
 
Minor is ****ing lost, but I'm still confident in him turning it around.

This offense has to hit. There's no other way around it.
 
We absolutely need another starter because there are two HUGE holes in the rotation right now ...Minor and Santana. I would rather see Hale out there instead of them two incompetent pitchers.
 
I'm puzzled by the screeching halt that comes to LaStella's hitting as soon as he's put at the top of the lineup.

Doesn'r make sense but why fight it, hit him 7th.
