Braves Trade Deadline Rumors

He's really busy with school, internship and being a mormon...so he really doesn't have time. I can pass word along via text, that you have a boner for him and want him back.

Replace my name with Zito, and then tell him Zito can "seal the deal" for his return. "Lips Sealed" so to speak. :cooter:

Santana actually makes a lot of sense if you put weight in Stark's sources. Dayton's looking more for a 2B and or RF that could start for them in 2014 in return for him.

His choice of Pastornicky/La Stella, Terdoslavich, and a lesser arm as a "throw in" could fit for both sides. Santana's been much better outside of the spotlight in LA, and could thrive and enjoy things enough here to consider bringing him back following the season as well.

Dayton may not even have a job at the end of the year. I think the Shields trade was him banking on doing something this year.

Ervin is going to go for a lot more than Pastro and Terdo, but it is Dayton...so there's always the chance he does something stupid.

Some teams have paid heftily for rentals. I suspect there is some regret on the part of the Giants for what they gave up for Beltran and on the part of the Angels about what they gave up for Greinke. Remains to be seen if teams continue to pay so much for rentals.

Bud Norris - S - Astros ESPN's Jayson Stark reports that the Braves "aren't roaring down the Bud Norris trail."

Stark notes that Norris "lacks the big-game experience they would look for if they deal for a starter."

Thank G-d.

That is what I wanted to hear

I dont know anything about the farms of either CWS or KC but just curious and dont want to start a fire storm but If CWS move Rios would they do Heyward for Peavy and KC really doesnt have much in their OF either would they have any interest or demand. We do have more OFers than normally are carried. If you come right down to nuts and bolts we have little to offer in trade other than pitchers at the minor league level.

What the ****.

Heyward for Peavy?

Ban?

Saw in an article Chi may listen on Sale to bolster its system.

I have no idea what we could trade for him though.

Wood, Graham, Cabrera, Gattis?

Too much?

We do have excess OFers. And another year like this year you wont get anything for Jason. Thats one thing.

Would make it easier to resign Mac if that is Wrens objective. Thats two things.

Shanks said to. Thats three things.

Shanks is a ****ing idiot and hates Heyward, who gives a rats ass what he thinks.

Wouldn't mind Peavy but his contract and health worry me.

Hell yes on Lohse,

Heyward and Medlin for Sale.....let's gooooooooooooo

Thats a good deal right there as long as Justin can get his act together.

Honestly, I'd rather trade Justin than Heyward but I think Chicago would rather have Heyward.

I don't know if that happens now, but could be an offseason move assuming he's not dealt before then.

I'd probably do that though.
