Being the 2 sides of economics are supply and demand.
All of our past efferts have been aimed at the demand side of the equation and we keep hearing if gun controll doesn't work in Chicago ( and that too is up in the air) how will it work in MyTown, USA.

We have never attacked the supply side.
It has workded with tobacco -- why not weapons.

I guarantee, should we eliminate the supply, which can be done much easier than turning the culture, we will watch the numbers go down. Rapidly.
Again, what is the difference between Canada,Britain Austrailia etc and Chicago?

Last I heard it is next to impossible to have gun murders without guns

I doubt you've ever been to a gun show. Gang bangers and other assorted of pieces of **** don't go to gun shows. They frankly wouldn't be welcomed. Illegal guns come from the streets not from tables at the local auditorium.

Doesn't gun shows kinda prove the liberal mantra wrong? If gun accessibility is the issue, and not bad people, why the hell haven't we seen a mass shooting at a gun show? We see them in schools, malls, and movie theaters (where guns are banned), but we don't see them at a large event where guns are more plentiful than oxygen.

I have been to a gun show. Really weird environment. Not for me obviously.

And no it doesn't. As far as why there aren't mass shootings there it's because no one as bothered doing it yet. I'm guessing because someone wants to keep it possible to keep getting guns illegally for crimes. Honestly you could do a **** ton of damage there with a well designed plan. Thorw in a **** ton of tear gas, start firing and watch the cowboys start firing. You'd slip out undetected because everyone has guns.

My guess is they don't happen because they will gunned down in a matter of seconds.

I'm guessing you've never been teargassed. Someone not even remotely expecting it wouldn't be gunning someone down immediately.

I also could be wrong as well but I believe many gun shows have tighter security ot get in than say a school or mall.

A well coordinated attack could lead to more carnage. Imagine even without guns. Some well pre-placed firecrackers and 2 shooters in a building with 2 exits. Preplant firecrackers and teargas. Have them go off sporadically. Pick off people trying to escape. I'd imagine you could take a ton of people out between people getting trigger happy in the building and no escape.

Or even better, you could just drop an atomic bomb an take out everyone.

The point is, we haven't seen a mass shooting at a gun show. I don't think we will anytime soon. there's a reason for that

what gun shows have you shown up to where they allow armed and loaded people to walk around the gun show?

i have been to a couple in Georgia and they all made you check your weapon at the door if you had one

It doesn't sound like anyone in this thread has actually been to a gun show.

And no, people getting guns illegally from gun shows is not an issue. These guns are registered and sold from legit dealers with proper protocol on background checks, etc.

Its funny how certain posters have such concrete arguments on issues they have zero clue about.
