Gonna get this out in the open; where does BJ rank on your most hated Braves list?

Id have to say right towards the top right up there with Melky, Kolb, and Rocker.

Melky is up there because he wasn't good and we traded my boy Vazquez for him. Kolb just stunk and Rocker was a favorite until I learned like the rest of the world he was a blabbering psychotic idiot that was a huge distraction for the team.

We've had a number of guys that we've acquired through the years that struggled like Sanders, McClouth, Uggla or guys that struggled with staying healthy like Hampton or guys like Reynolds that just didn't have it anymore, but all of those guys busted their tail and never complained like BJ.

BJ needs to go, he's committed the cardinal sin and doesn't deserve to be a Brave, plain and simple.

The one thing that I've been proud of is what this organization has stood for, we've always had a great group of guys that played hard and represented the community well outside the game. That isn't to say we haven't had players that didn't make mistakes, because we all know we did, but it pails in comparison to some of the other carp that organizations have turned a blind eye to.

I'm gonna say right up with Melky and Garret Anderson.

At least Rocker contributed before and after he revealed himself to be a racist pig.

I haven't been able to watch a game all season, so my hate for BJ is based on poster rage and his ****ty statistics.

For that reason, he's not above Melky or Garret Anderson.

Sad thing is that if Beej was putting up Garret Anderson's #s we would be less inclined to need this thread. That's how bad he has been...

He would be 4th behind the Klobster, Benedict Glavine, and Jeff "only good in contract years" Blauser. No wait, 5th. Lonnie Smith has to be too 3.

I forgot about Kolb...good thing. Reitsma has to be up on that list somewhere, as well. Farnsworth, too?

Easily at the top of the list.

That being said, I am no longer going to use his name on here or if I am talking with someone about the Braves. He isn't worth even being spoken about.

Hmm, 1. Len Barker (gave up Brett Butler to get him) 2. Kenny Lofton (gave up two of my fave players and I just never liked him) 3. BJ Upton (especially if his contract causes us to not be able to resign Jason or Justin)

I didn't like Lofton because of the trade, but he did have a good year for us (injuries aside.)

Bush league question. Upton has not dogged it, been rude to fans or media, or done anything to you personally.

I reserve hate for players who have done something to disrespect the Braves, the fans or their manager.
So, my hate list: Bob Wickman, Jason Marquis, John Rocker, Tom Glavine. If the last one needs explanation, you don't remember how he left.

Special seventh circle of hell hate: Nick Esasky. Look it up. Then, Len Barker.

Nope, not even close.

He just sucks as a baseball player and hurting our payroll. No need to hate him, hate FG and Wren and Liberty for signing his sorry ass.

How does a man with a serious health issue make the list?

I guess he somehow caught Vertigo on purpose? Seriously, it's pretty hardcore listing him unless he did something else I'm forgetting. I know he was a pretty big pickup at the time but I'd hardly blame any player for vertigo.

Hate is not a rational emotion. I was making a point. In truth, I only pity Esasky, who got one of the largest contracts ever issued by the Braves right before he took ill. Barker was hurt, too. That doesn't make the pain go away, does it?
