LOL. LeMichael James asks for release from Niners and gets it.

Good. Every time he was in on a play it went nowhere if he touched it. Every time he ran out there to run the ball was essentially a wasted play. It is about time they were rid of him.

Think he was bad fit. Harbaugh likes power running. Prolly good fit in Philly, NO, etc.

Yeah. I think when they took James it was primarily for special teams or Harbaugh was delusional thinking they could be ground and pound for 3 downs, then go to spread.

You can't just put James in and call plays in the open field for him. If Gore/Hyde are in for 95% of the snaps, the 5% of the snaps James plays are going to be obvious go to plays for him. You'd have to put him in a bunch of plays that aren't designed for him so the defense isn't zeroed in on him as soon as he enters the game. At that point you're taking plays away from better players to set up a play for an inferior player. Just doesn't make sense.

Definitely. He may prove useful in a scheme that runs to the outside more (i.e. Buffalo with Spiller)... but, a power running, up the guy, hard nose running team... he just doesn't fit. He also showed shades of Kyle Williams on returns, decent at times, poor on others.

He may find success, but, I don't think he will be a substantial force/lead back on a team anywhere, unless a team has a ton of injuries ahead of him, or they design their running schemes to fit his style of play... which frankly, even in practices, I don't think he has shown that he has earned teams doing that for him.

Philly might very well be a good place for him, getting back with Chip Kelly and the Oregon roots.

Giants O-Line getting owned so far. Eli not helping them out much either. So far the Lions have accounted for more penalty yardage than the Giants have total offense it seems.
