REAL FOOTBALL Thread

You underestimate Randle especially, and you will see more of him going forward. Already talk of decreasing Murray's workload.

I would sure as hell hope so, he has 40 more carries than the next highest guy. On pace for 424 carries. Guys that rush 400 times in a season just fall apart the following years.

What has hurt the Falcons the most is the inability to draft early round linemen and have them be at least average. We have missed on a TON of early round picks that have been VERY poor players, that it is comical. Anderson, Jerry, Baker, Konz, Johnson, Holmes, etc..

We have drafted ok other than the DL and OL. This years draft looks like a solid one at least, and outstanding one at best (Matthews and Hageman both don't get judged just as yet). Should get 4 solid contributors, but that also speaks to the lack of depth a good bit.

Put any quarterback behind that horrid offensive line that can't run block and you will see similar results.

RG3 has less interceptions in his career than Cousins.

Anyone says Wilson > Luck, needs to go to a doctor.

Most overrated QB in the league.

This is what happens when his defense doesnt carry him.

While he's not better than Luck, GTFO with this **** about overrated. He's had 1 bad game this yr. And he's carried that team on offense in many other games.

Easily one of the best 6-7 QBs in the league since he came into the league. And isn't really close.

Wilson can play well when his team puts him in situations where he doesn't have the win the game through the air down the field without Seattle having the threat of the run. He's just not that accomplished as a passer. He can run around and make plays and throw the ball to Harvin in the backfield though.

Calling him a top 6-7 QB is overrating him. Not in order, Rivers, Ryan, Luck, Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, Romo, Brady. If you want to toss Brady out for his past 2 year struggles, Rapelisberger. Wilson is maybe the best of the Luck, Kaepernick, etc. group. But Luck has stepped out of that so far this year.

That's wonderful. When the entire stadium knows the ball is going to thrown, it makes it tough on the quarterback. Not making excuses for Kirk as he's made some very bad decisions with the ball. Regardless of being one-dimensional on offense or not, he has to make better decisions.

Palmer threw the ball every down and didn't end up throwing 3 picks.

To be fair, Washington's defense isn't quite as good as Arizona's.

Arizona's pass defense is middle of the pack according to footballoutsiders. I believe their defense is also giving up 370 yards per game and are among the leagues worst in sacks. Arizona also doesn't have DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Andre Roberts, and Jordan Reed.

And they have washington as 25th. proving my point.

He was better than Romo last yr (even if only slightly) and has been very similar in rate stats this yr, despite Romo having much better offensive weapons and playing a weaker schedule. I'll take Wilson all day long over 4 INT Romo.

And he's definitely been better than Luck prior to this season, but given Luck's talent level and absolute dominant start to this season, I'd probably put Luck over him now at this point.

Brady's last yr and half haven't been very pretty. He's had two great games in a row, so may be he has righted the ship, but I'm not willing to bet on that. Not every QB ages like Peyton. I would still put Wilson over Brady at this point. Wilson doesn't have any weapons either and plays in a much harder division, seeing 3 of the best defenses in the league 6 times a yr.

Agree on Peyton, Rodgers, Brees, and Ryan.

Wilson doesn't have any weapons? PErcy Harvin? Baldwin? Tate? Lynch? Wilson hasn't been surrounded by bums. Sure he doesn't have the Broncos corps.

No they're not 2 All-Pros. They're one impact DL and one solid RT. A good first and second round pick could do it. I named 2 players that the falcons could draft who could be that player.

They're way more than just an impact pass rusher and stud RT away.

It does when they're at key positions. Falcons have had another terrible injury season. Lots of guys going down. But their key issue is DL, they do need many players, but 2 strong lineman tips the scale of course if they have another trainwreck injury season they're screwed.

Stop bringing up the Niners, falcons don't have the luxury of sucking for 5 years and getting hgh picks. Picking top 5 or so is great cause you have 4 picks in the top 100. If the Falcons are picking in the 20s, they have only 3 picks in the top 100.

Eh thats a copout, they've had some high picks but they've picked well outside of the 1st round.

Have made solid trades/low key FA signings (Stevie, Lloyd, Bethea, Cox, Dorsey, and others im sure)

Falcons depth is horrid.

And that's why you fail. Romo isn't bad, but he's not the QB Ryan is. Romo isn't a bum by any stretch, but Ryan is clearly superior to him.

LOL if Romo didnt have stupid turnovers late in games, hes a top 5 QB.

Romo is a damn boss.

Ryan and Romo are close, neither are clearly superior over the other.

Carried?

His defense/run game carry him every time.

He's never won a game when the other team scores 25+ points or more.

And Wilson isnt even a top 10 QB.

PM, Rodgers, Brees, Brady (if he keeps playing like this), Luck, Rivers, Cam, Romo, Ryan, and Big Ben are all better.
