I don't want to add to the fear-mongering but...

Now the CDC is saying she had a low grade fever whilest on the flight.

Don't forget Duncans family actually helped treat him and none of them have shown signs of Ebola.

So unless she pooped, spit, peed, or cried on someone, that should be ok.

Either way Frieden has to go. Just some very common sense things that the CDC should have done here.

Bring in an experienced infectious disease team to oversee all of patient zero's care, give healthcare workers the training and equipment they need and make sure those who cared for patient zero and make sure those who did care for patient zero are monitored and not allowed to fly on a commercial flight.

Obviously those three things were things that should have been done, because now Frieden is saying the CDC should have done all of those things.

Who is saying not to live your life?

If the worst happens and a ridiculous outbreak happens you are just going to hang out outside?

As opposed to sit in my house and be miserable for the low chance that I get Ebola, yes.

I'd rather wait it out and defend myself against the predictable looters when society starts to breakdown.

Riots happened because a thug rushed a cop. What do you think would happen if a massive Ebola outbreak happens?

Wow, now you think Ebola is going to cause worldwide looting?

Plenty of bottled water, propane and canned goods as well as weapons to defend myself. Something I think everyone should be doing.

I hope I'll never need it though.

So you have them now and have already been ready or is this something you are going to do specifically bc of Ebola?
