Specifically for Ebola or general end of life doomsday?
Just thought it would be a smart idea. THe world seems to be destabilizing more and more.

Is having some bottled water, a few canned goods, flashlights, a gun or two really something to mock? I don't think it's a bad idea to have emergency provisions lying around, even if you think of fears of the threat du jour are overblown.

Thethe, I think the biggest threat to us living in America is the rise of liberalism and all that entails: weaker foreign policy, not closing the borders, spending money we don't have, keeping low income people down, dividing the country by race, more government programs, etc.
That's what I'm worried about. And that **** is happening here and now.

"I haven't watched news extensively for 6 months, never been happier. You eventually realise that the day-to-day **** that they report has no bearing on your life at all. "
This was posted by a user on reddit that I saw this morning. Replace 6 months with a couple years and it's exactly what I've been saying for a couple years now. News isn't news anymore, it's edited stories, done to draw as many viewers as possible.
