NBA Thread

Hope Horford is healthy this year. I think the Hawks could be the the third best team in the conference after Cleveland and Chicago.

A top four of Atlanta, Cleveland, Chicago, and Washington is what I expect. Not in that order.

I will be rooting for Atlanta some because my boy Bazemore is on the squad, but 3rd best team in the East? Lolicopter.

I mean Horford and Millsap are pretty good, but they are really weak outside of those 2.

As long as Horford continues to play out of position at center he's going to remain injury prone.

A starting five of Al, Paul, DeMarre, Kyle, and Jeff isn't awful. It's one of the better starting fives in the east. It's not awesome by any means, but it doesn't need to be. The bench is what I am most concerned with. Hope Payne can come in and contribute right away.

The Hawks roster is ass outside of their Big 3, it's a bunch of guys that should be bench guys on a good team.

Cavs - Bulls - Wiz - Hornets - Heat - Raps are all better then there the Hawks. Hawks are grouped with the Knicks/Nets/Pacers

Miami's roster minus Bosh/Wade/Deng isnt much better either.

People really think that guys like Korver/Teaguq/Mack/Scott aren't solid players (Korver being much better than solid)

Also, the NBA is about fit. The whole is always greater than the sum of the parts.

Also, I love this kid Dennis Schoeder. I think in a year or two you are looking at a NBA caliber starting PG.

Mack was released by the Wizards despite not even having a backup. He's not good. Scott? Seriously? Teague is what, an average starter? Korver can do 1 thing.

What should OKC have done then if what they did was so awful. Instead of just barking about how bad it was I haven't heard any alternatives that were better.
