NBA Thread

Given they have a bench of 12th-13th-14th-15th type of players, it's amazing they arent gonna run out of the building every night.

If they make FT's, they beat Memphis last night.

Sure it's a positive sign that the Thunder are staying in games. Big thing is actual being able to pull some of these games out and get wins. We all know how stacked the west is. Anytime you can get a win is going to be huge until you get the players back.

NBA hates the Hawks. Two games in a row blatant referee calls lost a game for the Hawks.

Oh well.

Yeah, its been garbage against them. The team is really good and I think if they get into the playoffs they are going to make some noise.

I love how Korver is the best shooter in the league and I was laughed at for saying it 3-4 years ago.

Only 2 losses behind the 8th seed. If we can stay around 5-8 losses back by the time KD/RW get back we are going to make the playoffs. If you look at it the Thunder have played a brutal schedule so far and maybe if they had there guys aside from KD?RW they would have won some of them.

I think it's funny how they try and compete every year but just can't.

The Amare contract just killed them and they haven't been able to find a good PG (although I think Larkin at worst will be a solid backup PG).

I'll wait to see if Calderon can stabilize the rotation for them. Honestly, I wouldn't mind even trading them Reggie Jackson right now. Jackson/Perk for Calderon/Dalambert/Hardaway.

That could work out well for the THunder.

BTW, KJ McDaniels looks like a keeper. You guys just need to find some shooting in the worst way.

PG is kind of important....especially one of the best shooting ones in the league.....I'd probably wait for Calderon to be actually play before making any stupid statements.

Are the Knicks better than the Nets this year?

With a healthy Calderon? I'll take the Knicks but I think they are close. Melo has played like ****, no Calderon and a new offense and they have been in every game but 2. I don't see the reason to freak out

Yeah, it is close only because hte inevitable season ending injury will happen to Lopez as well as the dip in performance of Deron.

however, if that doesn't happen the Nets are a 50 win team. Love the way those guys play basketball.

Mirza/Bogdan/Plumlee is some solid youth that they've accumulated to help out the aging veterans on the team.

New offense? What I saw last night was much of the same. Overrated selfish guy throws up 25 shots. What has changed?

Melo needs help. The team is really weak right now. Hard to run a team when you don't have a good PG. The NBA is setup now where you need those guys.

The Hawks now have two guys which is what is helping them win games.

Am I reading this right? You are saying the 2014/2015 Brooklyn Nets are a 50-win team?
