NBA Thread

Yeah he's always had bad conditioning but that was weird. Guess it was tiring putting up an average centers production within the first 5 minutes. Now that he's become a good defender, he's starting to put himself up there with the top players in the league. The refs are starting to treat him differently now as well. Now only if the fans would wake up and get him in the all star game.

The difference in this team has been getting rid of Isaiah Thomas and picking up Darren Collison. Thomas can score with the leagues best but he's a horrible defender and is a dribble, dribble, dribble, shoot PG. He might get you 25 but he's going to cost you 30 on the other end. Now that Collison is on the team, the opposing teams guards aren't just running through the paint on every possession. Makes the entire teams defense look great even though it's the same 4 out of 5 guys starting.

May not be this year but I think moving forward McLemore will be a solid player. Borderline starter type player but its good to have those guys obviously. Kings have an interesting roster and when you have a big as good as Cousin you cna build a team around that easily.

I hope Stauskas gets more of a look as the season moves along. I think he is going to be a damn good player.

lol he can't even spell defense. You have to play some sort of defense at this level, unless you are James Harden. And he doesn't have half the offensive skill that Harden does.

Green is def. in the right spot being the guy left over on offense when everyone is guarding Curry, Lee, and Thompson.

Kings 4-1 for the first time since I was in high school.

Gay's been solid, and Cousins has been great. The Kings are making it really likely the Bulls pick up an extra first-rounder in the 2015 draft.

Lets not forget that he is probably one of the 5 best defensive players in the league. Curry is lucky that he has Draymond on the defensive side of the ball.

Seems like you might not like Michigan players.

Thoughts on Mitch Mcgary?

I'm not high on McLemore. He's the strangest player ever. Every 10 games or so he scores 20-25 points and looks like a solid SG. But the 9 games in between he looks worse than the worst D-League players. He has all the tools but the chances of him putting them together seem slim from what I've seen. Most of the time he looks like he doesn't even belong on an NBA roster.

Stauskas might end up surprising you with his defense. So far he's been getting a lot of BS foul calls on him while he's just standing there with his arms up. He had a 3 block game the other night as well. If he can shoot 40% from 3 and continue to improve his defense, he's going to be solid. Coach Malone has been on his ass about defense so he's going to play it if he wants to see the court.

They can have it. I'm tired of losing seasons and wasted top 10 draft picks.

Yeah defenses have been locking down David Lee while he is in street clothes on the bench. The same David Lee who got hurt last night in seven minutes of playing time.

As a Bulls fan, I've been selfishly pulling for Sacramento ever since the Deng trade—but I'd like to see the team do well irrespective of the draft-pick, just to shake things up a bit in the West and reward a franchise that's been down for over a decade.

Curry is lucky they have one of the top defensive centers in the league backing him up when anyone drives past him. The whole team has gotten better on defense. Not sure that Green is a top 5 defender, but he is versatile; guarding Blake last night.

The fact that Green can guard most 4's makes him incredibly valueable since he can shoot threes. Guy is going to clean up in free agency.

Friendly reminder that Evan Turner was taken instead of Demarcus Cousins. Risks of those immature players coming out.

Ok, I'll ask some of you guys who are not Thunder fans how I should feel about the teams performance. I think its a positive that we are staying in these games with only 7-9 active players. I believe we would have had another 2 wins if just our anciliary guys were back like Morrow/Jones/Roberson.

What is your outsiders view on the team?
