College Football Thread

Last year is last year, they're in close games with crap teams every week.

They'll be in the playoff but they've had a crap schedule so far and are lucky to not have a loss yet.

11-0 isn't lucky

Played one team that wasn't a power 5 team as opposed to say -- Alabam or Miss State or Oregon

Miss State sandwiched a loss between UT Martin and Vandy. I don't know how much more crap it gets . Unless you throw in Texas A&M and War Damn Eagles

This whole system of ranking teams is whack. According to their metric, the south won the Civil War, Germany won the war in Europe Japan in the Pacific and lo and behold, Mission Accomplished was in fact, Mission Accomplished.

To my mind the hardest quarter of football is the 4th. This team has won every 4th quarter it's played.

For 2 years.

Crap schedule -- you make me laugh

They're not a **** team but the schedule has been.

I live in ACC country, the ACC is terrible as a whole.

Looking at Alabamas schedule I see less to almost equal competition

West Virginia - Ok State
Florida Atlantic - Citidel
Southern Miss - Clemson
Florida - NC State
Mississip - Wake Forest
Arkansas - Syracuse
Texas A&M - NotreDame
Tenn - Louisville
LSU - Virginia
Miss St - Miami
W Carolina - BC
Auburn - Florida

Looking at week to week match ups tells a different story then what is being told

W Virginia was originally schedule in Citidels spot but they cancelled when they switched conferences.

And Missy St has had a tough one?

#dynasty “@leefitting: Wow. According to @chrisfallica the Tide are 2-10 vs spread since Iron Bowl last yr.”

Florida and who else ?

I bitched all season about the overrated schedules of SEC teams.

Kudos to Ole Miss (open 2016) and Alabama (open 2017) for scheduling FSU out of conference.
