GDT: 7-29-13 Rockies at Braves, Feeling a little Beachy.

Been saying for a while, while I think Beachy will rebound to his old self, we don't need to be counting on him to be the ace we're looking for. Don't overpay for a Peavy by any means, but at least try to get a SP.

Only if the White Sox demand is less that what it will likely be

Some of the reports today stated it was mainly a money issue for the Braves. I thought we had enough to make a move like Peavy. Unless they got screwed by Liberty or something.

What an inning. I loved this new lineup! I don't why Fredi didn't go to it sooner when we were all begging for it.

He didn't know we moved over here, he was still reading the Scout board and saw Patio was the only one posting there and posting tweets from the internet. I think he mighta got a PM from weso a few days ago and joined here.

Peavy's salary for next year is like $14M or something insane like that.

This is what I was afraid of with Beachy. He's not the same pitcher he was pre injury, at least not yet.

I know the Rockies offense is good but he looks terrible.

White Sox will have to eat a good chunk of salary or send plenty of green Atlanta's way

You guys may laugh at me but I would trade for Tim Lincecum if the Giants asking price on him isn't too high. He's a rental player and the Giants have said they would listen on their veteran players. Tim Lincecum seems to have finally learned to pitch with declining stuff. He's pitched much better in his last 10 starts.

10 G, 10 GS, 62 IP, 55 H, 31 R, 28 ER, 8 HR, 20 BB, 69 SO, 4.06 ERA

But including in that is a terrible start against the Reds in which he gave up 8 runs. Take that out and it's great.

9 G, 9 G, 58 1/3 IP, 46 H, 23 R, 20 ER, 5 HR, 19 BB, 67 SO, 3.09 ERA
